Window Shades That Move With the Way You Live.
Design a home where shades open, close, group, and respond through remotes, app control, scenes, voice assistants, and compatible smart-home systems — all built around beautiful custom window treatments.
The best automation is the kind you stop thinking about.
Motorization is not just about eliminating a chain or pressing a button. It is about making privacy, glare control, daylight, and room comfort easier to manage across the entire day.
One-Touch Control
Move a single shade, a room, or a group of shades without walking from window to window.
Scenes & Routines
Create useful positions for morning, evening, privacy, glare control, or media viewing.
Hard-to-Reach Glass
Motorization makes tall windows, wide openings, and inaccessible shades practical to use every day.
Cleaner Design
Remove visible operating chains and keep the finished window treatment quieter and more architectural.

Start with the shade. Then choose the control system that fits the home.
Motorized shading does not have to be locked into one control path. We work with Somfy TaHoma as well as Bond Bridge / Bond Bridge Pro where compatible, allowing the control strategy to be selected around the motors, the size of the project, the existing smart-home ecosystem, and how you actually want to use the shades.
Decide the power and control strategy before the walls are finished.
New construction is the ideal time to coordinate shade locations, power, wiring, pockets, fascia, and control expectations before drywall and finish work make changes expensive.
From a single remote to a coordinated whole-home shading system.
The right control method depends on how many shades you have, who uses them, whether the home is already automated, and how much intelligence you actually want.
Handheld & Wall Control
Simple, fast control for individual shades, rooms, or programmed groups.
Somfy TaHoma
App-based control, scenes, and compatible voice or partner integrations for supported Somfy-powered shades.
Bond Bridge
Smart control for many compatible remote-controlled shades, with Bond Bridge Pro available for larger or more advanced automation projects.
Voice & Automation
Connect supported systems to Alexa, Google Home, SmartThings, scenes, schedules, and broader home-automation routines where compatible.
A smart shade should still look like a luxury window treatment.
Automation is only one layer of the project. Fabric, openness, blackout performance, hardware, hem bars, fascia, pockets, side channels, and how the shade relates to the architecture still determine whether the finished room feels refined.

One consultation can coordinate the windows, controls, and room-by-room goals.
Instead of treating every opening as an isolated shade, we can plan bedrooms, living areas, media spaces, kitchens, and large glass as one coordinated shading system.
Design the room first. Engineer the automation around it.
Consultation
We discuss rooms, privacy, glare, fabrics, existing automation, and how you want the shades controlled.
Technical Measure
We verify openings, mounting depth, power strategy, shade size, access, and installation conditions.
System Design
We select the shade, motor direction, controls, grouping, and connected-home approach that fits the project.
Install & Setup
Shades are installed, limits and controls are configured, and the system is prepared for daily use.
Motorized shade and home-automation questions.
Can I control motorized shades from my phone?
Compatible Somfy-powered systems can use TaHoma app control for connected shades. The exact capabilities depend on the selected motor and control architecture.
Can motorized shades work with Alexa, Google Home, or Apple Home?
Somfy TaHoma supports multiple voice and partner integrations. Compatibility depends on the specific motor, TaHoma configuration, and integration being used, so the control plan should be confirmed during system design.
What is the difference between RTS and Zigbee?
They are different Somfy control architectures. RTS is Somfy's established radio-control platform, while Zigbee is a connected protocol used on compatible newer systems. The right choice depends on the project, controls, integration goals, and installed products.
What is Bond Bridge and when would you use it?
Bond Bridge and Bond Bridge Pro can add smart control to many compatible remote-controlled motorized shades. They are useful when the project benefits from app control or broader smart-home integration without making TaHoma the only control path. Compatibility still needs to be confirmed for the specific motor and system.
Can I automate an entire house?
Yes. Whole-home projects can be organized by room and use grouped control, scenes, and compatible connected-home features. Larger projects benefit from planning the motor and control architecture before ordering.
Can I motorize blackout shades?
Yes. Motorized blackout or room-darkening roller shades are commonly used in bedrooms, media rooms, nurseries, and other spaces where convenience and light control matter.
Is motorization only for new construction?
No. Existing homes can use motorized shading as well. New construction simply gives more freedom to coordinate concealed power, wiring, pockets, and other architectural details before finishes are complete.

Make the windows part of the smart home.
We’ll help you coordinate the shades, fabrics, motors, controls, scenes, and installation strategy around the way your home actually needs to function.
